Jack was elected to Student Council for the 6th grade (alongside two 6th grade girls). His "platform" was that he wanted to change the school handbook so students would be able to wear shorts when they wanted to as opposed to only until November 1st and after April 1st each year. The three reps wrote a letter to the Education Committee and check out the below notice from the school:
