After a few days in Denver, we drove south through Colorado Springs - originally going to stop at the Air Force Academy but, as it turns out, you need a security clearance to get onto the campus. We did have a great stop at the Olympic Training Center and took an interesting tour of the place. We then drove down to Sand Dunes NP and did a little sand surfing and relaxing at a nice rental home.
