Reading has really changed a lot since the start of 1st grade. We've really seen a big improvement and, more importantly, much more enjoyment from reading with both boys. "Jack and Annie" (Magic Tree House series) books are a favorite around here. On a completely unrelated topic, Luke got his arm stuck (briefly, we were able to get it out ourselves after some maneuvering) in a claw machine at a restaurant yesterday. I always wondered how those things happened and what types of parents those things happened to.........
He was very upset and definitely learned his lesson so all is well!
