Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to Grandma and GG!  Mike and I both are thankful for our mothers and mother-in-laws!  

In honor of Mother's  Day, a Top 5 list of things I love about being a mom to two four year olds:

1. Luke's dress-up--there's an outfit for every occasion (baseball, basketball, "worker guy"--you name it), there's gear for it in our house and Luke will put it on!
2. Jack and his "babies."  Every night, I go in his room and one is tucked under his arm while he is fast asleep.  He gives Mike and me a few for our bed, too!
3. Listening to them sing the "Star Spangled Banner" (loudly) as they are sitting in the stroller cruising around downtown Omaha.
4. Restaurnaut (restaurant), Lellow (yellow),  Old McDonald's (McDonald's), hostibal (hospital)--the occasional mispronunciations are quite charming.
5. And, finally, just watching them grow and seeing the people they are becoming!
