Chicago! (and the story of "the boot")

We ventured to Chicago last weekend for a Fitzgerald cousin reunion.  Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Bob even let us stay with them!  Along with Mike's cousins, we also got to see Aunt Mimi and the McNamara cousins.  Fun times!

We had our first broken bone a few weeks ago, and we aren't really even sure how it happened!  Luke came from school and after about 15 minutes, I noticed he was limping.  I called the daycare and he had one rather unremarkable fall (tripped over a play cookie sheet).  It was hard to notice as it was only noticeable when he was running and it never did appear to hurt.  After a couple days of him limping, we took him to the doctor and he has a slight fracture in his tibia (the large bone in the lower leg).  He is in a boot for three or so weeks.  It hasn't slowed him down at all and we regularly get comments on how cute the boot is!!!

First professional baseball game!  Go White Sox!!

Taking a selfie of the four of us doesn't always work out the best!

Trying on his cousins' dress-up outfits

Not Chicago (church two Sundays prior).  Father Tom's last day at Sacred Heart.  Note the boot!
